Arale Kennels was established as working German Shepherd kennel in 1960. Seven years later, the suffix Lowenhart was appended, reflecting our growing involvement with the breeding, care, import and training of
Show-Class Rottweilers.

As a breeder/trainer, we had the 1st Sch H. (Schutzhund) Titled Rottweiler, Nick v Villa Daheim, NASA 1973. In 1975, we had the youngest Rottweiler trained to CD, 6-month old Lowenhart's Greta. We were the first civilian professional to exhibit at the 1976 USPDA trial with our German Shepherd, Pascha.

We founded the Allgemeiner Sch H. (Schutzhund) Club in 1970, have judged AKC and German Style shows, including Best in Match.
